What Is Sankofa Ubuntu Renaissance Village (SURV)?

A high-accountability immersion program where students build real community infrastructure.

A 3–4 week summer leadership programme in Ghana for students aged 14–19, with hands-on team projects in leadership, teamwork, and innovation.

Each cohort is responsible for deploying at least one functioning community lab- education, agriculture, or health inside a real host community, with verified outcomes and documented accountability.

Built on Two Principles

At Sankofa Ubuntu renaissance village, students are inducted into a village execution system built on two principles:

Sankofa

Retrieve real context-history, constraints, institutions, and local logic-before acting.

Ubuntu

Decisions must strengthen the African ecosystem.

Igniting Student Potential

Students are placed into small venture squads (4–6 per group). Each squad owns a real deployment challenge from start to finish.
