Bringing the Program to Life

The program is engineered as a deployment sprint-from research to handover in 3-4 weeks

Reality Check

Remote, Pre-Arrival
Students confront real constraints-power, connectivity, procurement, trust, and institutions-and are assigned clear roles and accountability.

Systems Immersion

Week 1
Students rotate through schools, clinics, energy providers, telecom operators, and local institutions to understand how systems actually work.

Community Embed

Week 2
Teams relocate into their host environment to validate feasibility, secure consent, and co-design solutions with local stakeholders.

Design and Capital

Week 3
Students turn ideas into fundable plans-budgets, bills of materials, operating models, and ethical storytelling for donors.

Build, Install, Handover

Week 4 (Extension)
Labs are installed, activated, governed, and handed over with trained local operators and documented maintenance plans.
